Local Beaches

The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit does regular testing of area beaches to ensure they are safe for swimming. Beach water quality monitoring begins in June and continues to the end of August. During the summer months, weekly sampling results for beaches in the City of Kawartha Lakes are listed on the Health Unit website: www.hkpr.on.ca
