John Gordon - 2 Nov 2017 - Gordon, John Arthur On Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, John Gordon of Four Mile Lake and formerly of Burlington passed away in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Jerri Frappier, dear father of Kate and her husband Anthony LoPresti, Craig Gordon and his wife Jean Ross, Adam Gordon and Oliver Rymek and Cheryl Broom. Loving grandpa of Evelyn, Nicholas, Bowie and Caleb. John is sadly missed by his sister Joan and her husband George Graham and their sons Robb, Kevin and Jamie. John was the quintessential sportsman starting in high school as Quarterback at Malvern Collegiate and then with a distinguished career at the University of Toronto on the Varsity Blues Football and Hockey teams. His career in insurance spanned over three decades with London Life before he established his own financial services company. Known as “JG” or “the Old Boy”, he loved nothing more than spending a Saturday with his friends on the golf course or fishing. Family was central to him and he could of.
