Yard Waste Collection

Many of you are likely keeping busy doing yard work now that the snow is gone and the weather is starting to turn around. The City of Kawartha Lakes has added another Leaf and Yard Waste Pickup to this springs schedule.

If your scheduled collection day is on Monday your spring leaf and yard collection will occur on Friday May 1 and Friday June 5.

A Reminder that all landfill sites are closed to the public so take advantage of the spring leaf and yard pick up and don’t leave your clean up at the landfill gates or in the ditch. Just not nice. Also, your curbside garbage bag limit has temporarily increased to 3 bags per household.
