AGM 2022 - Notice of Meeting
Greetings and Welcome Back to Four Mile.
2021/22 was another great year on the lake. Even with some pandemic restrictions we were still able to enjoy our seasons on the lake. We hope you all will take advantage of the great summer weather we are anticipating and get out there to enjoy our lake. We encourage everyone to support our advertisers. Without them we wouldn’t be able to publish our monthly briefings and spring/fall newsletters.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in person this year on Sunday, July 10th, 2022 at 10 am at the Burnt River Community Centre. We will again use the proxy approach to vote on a number of matters that must be officially dealt with including the nomination of board members. We encourage you to complete the proxy and submit prior to the meeting to make the tabulation of responses that much easier. A reminder that there is only one vote per household.
The agenda for the AGM is attached. A link to the proxy is also provided https://forms.gle/ufTSyKUNRd2VZSqY9 for all members with a deadline for completion of July 6th, 2022. We encourage all to complete the Proxy even if you do plan on attending the in-person meeting. A separate page on the members only section of the FMLA website has been set up which will house the various documents for review and approval http://www.fourmilelake.ca/agm2022. You will need to log in as a member to access this section.
The FMLA’s by-law stipulates that forty (40) members shall constitute a quorum for holding an AGM therefore it is imperative that you complete the proxy. The results of the proxy will be confirmed and tabulated prior to the meeting. The results of the proxy will form the official vote and will be disclosed at the meeting and subsequently posted to the website. Please direct any questions or concerns regarding the proxy questions or documents to fourmilelakeassocation@gmail.com
Thank you all for participating in the new method of voting and hope to see you at the meeting.
Regards,
Ann Hayter
President-Treasurer
